Topic description

What does Cloud Computing mean and what exactly are IAAS, PAAS and SAAS? How testing in the cloud differs from traditional testing? Come and join our webinar to find out the answers!

The presentation aims to demystify Cloud Computing and its application to software testing. It will explain what exactly it is (not just some remote server farms), where it originates from, what the different cloud service models (IAAS, PAAS and SAAS) are, who the major providers. Participants will also gain a good understanding what cloud based testing means and why it is a game changer in the testing world. Selected aspects of testing Windows Azure based microservices will be also shared, time permitting.

‍

What you will learn:

  • What do cloud based test platforms look like?
  • What are the pros and cons of cloud testing?
  • Why is cloud based testing a game changer?
  • What process elements are critical to successful cloud testing operations?
  • What skillset does your team needs to "kick ball" in cloud testing?

This event is for you if you are a test manager or a test lead with technical background.
